Wasco (also known as:  Wasco Race Track)

Location: Six miles west of St. Charles on Route 64

Notes:  Peculiar-shaped ½ mile dirt track with dog leg…track laid out in wooded area…one motorsports writer called it “the most thrilling course” in the country…James Clyde Jack, 28, of Chicago , killed on 7/19/1936 during timetrials.
