Notes: Sam Savage original owner of property…Harry Spurlock of Gary – promoter…Rodeo (horse races) held there before auto races, including midget races.
1950 - Nick Trgovich of East Chicago won Labor Day stock car feature race.
1951 - Nick Trgovich won Season Title race. Trgovich drove his Warren Bracken Motors-sponsored 1940 Ford to the win.
1952 - George Colvin of Michigan City won back to back stock car features on Friday night, 9/5/52 and Sunday night, 9/7/52. He was driving a 1936 Ford No. 65 sponsored by Henry Motor Co. (Michigan City, Ind.). Track record at the time was 15.80 seconds.
1953 - Bill Carr won feature race on Sunday night, August 16. Carr of Gary drove his 1940 Ford to victory ahead of George Colvin in a 1936 Ford and Kenny Blank in a 1940 Ford.
