Legs Whitcomb and his '57 Chevy dive inside of Bill Cornwall with Ted Janecyk (1) right there during the opening day 30-lap late model stock car feature race at Raceway Park near Blue Island. Whitcomb won the feature race that afternoon, in addition to the trophy dash and "fast car" heat race for a clean sweep of the action on April 21, 1963.
