Location: about 2 miles east of Boswell , Indiana
Notes: Track opened in 1967 as a 3/8’s-mile dirt track, owned and operated by Oxford furniture store owner Avery G. Henry and named Henry’s Speedway…Larry Cope of Leroy, Ind. was the first track champion, winning the title in the modified/coupe division…track paved in 1977 with Chicago’s Bobby Dotter winning the late model track championship there in 1980…over the years track also known as the Chase Raceway and Benton County Speedway...track remained paved until 1997 when it returned to dirt…in June of 2002, Bob and Gayle Kamp of K-Motion Racing in Lafayette took over ownership with track undergoing a major “facelift” and being renamed - Kamp Motor Speedway ... had been the scene of major United Midwestern Promoters (UMP) stock car races and United States Auto Club (USAC) sprint car and midget events until the track closed after the 2009 season.
Track reopened in 2014 by owner Mike Daugherty and renamed Daugherty Speedway.
