Using a late
season push for the title, Hal Ruyle claimed the 1950 stock car championship at
Chicagoland's Raceway Park. Ruyle sits proudly on the front of his
title-winning Hank Salat-owned '46 Packard after winning Raceway's third annual
300 Lap Classic.
