Notes:  …the $130 million, 1.5-mile, D-shaped, 75,000-seat, tri-oval speedway hosted the first NASCAR Winston Cup (Nextel Cup) Series event in the Chicago area since 1956 on 7/15/01 with Kevin Harvick winning the inaugural Tropicana 400…the late seven-time NASCAR Champion Dale Earnhardt, Dale Jarrett, Eddie Cheever and Scott Goodyear, along with Bill France and Tony George, attended the ceremonial groundbreaking of the speedway on September 29, 1999…ownership of the speedway is made up of the combined interests of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corporation (37.5% Ownership), International Speedway Corporation (37.% Ownership) and Founding Owners of Route 66 Raceway (25% Ownership)…Route 66 Raceway is the sister-track of the Chicagoland Speedway and features a state-of-the-art, stadium-type drag strip and a ˝ mile dirt oval.
